Frequently Asked Questions

Additional questions can be asked here.

When you arrive at our NewHope Kids environment, you'll check your child in at one of our kiosks. They’ll receive a name tag that includes their age/grade and any special instructions you’d like us to know. You’ll also receive a matching parent tag that ensures only you can pick up your child after the service.

Every volunteer serving with NewHope Kids has been background checked and trained to care for children at their specific age and learning level. We’re committed to providing a safe, welcoming space where your child is known, loved, and encouraged to grow in their faith.
At NewHope Kids, we teach foundational biblical truths in fun, engaging environments designed just for children. We use a Christ-centered, age-appropriate curriculum that helps kids discover who God is, who Jesus is, and what it means to follow Him.

Our desire goes beyond Sunday—we aim to partner with parents and equip them to be the spiritual leaders in their homes. We believe we truly win when parents feel confident and empowered to model a lifelong relationship with Jesus for their children (Deuteronomy 6:5–9).
At NewHope Kids, your child’s safety is our top priority. We’ve put several security measures in place to create a safe and secure environment for every family.

Our computerized check-in system provides each child with a name tag that includes important information such as allergies or special instructions. Parents receive a matching pick-up tag, which must be presented for your child to be released after the service.

Every NewHope Kids staff member and volunteer is thoroughly screened through background and reference checks and must complete orientation and training before serving. Our team works closely together to maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-supervised environment where your child can learn and grow in their faith with confidence.
If we need your assistance to ensure your child has a positive experience, we will contact you promptly via text message. Please keep your phone nearby during the service when your child(ren) are checked into NewHope Kids.
To help keep all children and volunteers in NewHope Kids healthy and safe, we kindly ask parents to refrain from bringing children who have experienced any of the following symptoms within the past 24 hours: fever, colored nasal discharge, conjunctivitis (“pink eye”), eye or ear discharge, vomiting or diarrhea, skin infections, persistent cough or sore throat, cold sores around the mouth, impetigo, active chickenpox or having received the chickenpox vaccine within the last 3 days, or any other acute infectious illness.
