Adam Bishop

Senior Pastor

Adam Bishop began serving as the Senior Pastor of NewHope Church in June of 2023. Adam and his wife, Morgan, have three boys (Sam, Jacob, and Henry).

Adam grew up in Kennesaw, GA in the metro Atlanta area and graduated from Carson Newman University in 2000. He then obtained a Master of Arts in Religion (2004) and a Master of Divinity (2013) from Liberty University’s School of Divinity. Before serving at NewHope Church, he served as the Senior Pastor at Vaughn Forest Church in Montgomery, Alabama. In his 25 years as a pastor, he has also served at great churches in the metro Atlanta area, New York City, and Denver, Colorado. Since 2013 Adam has served as an Online Professor for Liberty University and he also coaches other Senior Pastors through his partnership with the “Courage to Lead” organization. 

In his free time, Adam enjoys coaching his boys’ sports teams, playing a round of golf, UGA football, and all things North Carolina Tarheels.

Our faith community is extremely friendly and welcoming to newcomers. Our hope is that our Sunday services provide an inviting atmosphere where everyone feels needed and known.
When you arrive, our parking team will help you find the closest available spot. Once parked, head toward the building entrance where you'll be greeted by more of our awesome volunteers! Be sure to stop by the Guest Services area next to the entrance for directions toward our children's ministry area, cafe, bathrooms, and worship center. We're here to help!
