The Prodigal Son

Pastor Adam Bishop

2/1/2026

There are seasons when life doesn’t unfold the way we hoped, leaving us questioning where we stand with God. This message reflects on the parable of the prodigal son and the reminder that God’s posture toward us has always been one of compassion, not condemnation.

Through the story of two sons, we’re invited to see how easily both rebellion and self-righteousness can distance us from the joy of the Father. Yet neither failure nor faithfulness changes God’s desire for relationship—His love remains constant, generous, and deeply personal.

At the heart of this message is a simple truth: God doesn’t wait for perfect words or rehearsed prayers. He meets us with grace, celebration, and restoration, inviting us to live fully in the freedom of being known and loved.
