Learn To Discern

Pastor Adam Bishop

There’s a growing tension many people feel but don’t always have language for—the sense that not everything is as clear as it used to be. More voices, more opinions, more things claiming to be true. This message speaks directly into that reality and reminds us that discernment is not just helpful—it’s necessary for navigating life with clarity and faith.

As we walk through 2 Timothy 3, we’re invited to slow down and pay attention. To notice what’s shaping us, who we’re listening to, and whether what we’re following is actually grounded in truth. Discernment isn’t about becoming critical of everything—it’s about becoming anchored in what’s real, trustworthy, and life-giving.

God’s Word doesn’t just inform us—it equips us. And when we begin to apply it, not just agree with it, we start to see the difference in how we respond, how we lead, and how we live. In a world that feels increasingly uncertain, discernment becomes the steady ground we stand on.
