October: Week 4
We had a fantastic day in NH Kids! Today your preschooler learned all about Joseph and how Joseph stored up grain for 7 years. Joseph did this because he listened to God and trusted God’s big plan. You can read more about this in Genesis 41-45. While you are on the go with your preschooler, talk about the plans you have for the day, then remind them that God’s plans are always best! Then pray and invite God into your day!
Our Elementary Schoolers continued learning about the life of Moses. Today they focused on the burning bush and the 10 plagues of Egypt found in Exodus 3 and 7. Through these mighty acts, God showed the Israelites that He heard their prayers and saw exactly what they were going through. Not only did God see and hear, but He did something to help them. At your family dinner this week, allow each family member to share something hard they are going through. Pray together as a family over each specific request and remind each other that God sees, God cares, and God is big enough to help!
