The Day Between
Pastor Adam Bishop

Easter reminds us that the resurrection is the foundation of everything we believe. But this message from New Hope focuses on the part of the story we often skip over: the day between Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday. For the disciples, it was a day of confusion, disappointment, grief, and uncertainty. For many of us, that is exactly what faith can feel like in real life.
In this Easter sermon, we explore what it means to trust God when your faith is being tested. What do you do when it feels like God let you down, when you begin to condemn yourself, when emotions feel overwhelming, or when your current struggle starts to feel permanent? Through Scripture in Romans, Psalms, and Acts, this message points us back to the truth that God is still working even when we cannot see it.
If you are looking for Christian encouragement, hope in hard times, or a reminder that the resurrection of Jesus still changes everyday life, this message is for you. Because Jesus rose from the dead, hope is never lost, impossible no longer exists, and you do not have to face your Saturday without the promise of Sunday.
