Beauty from Ashes

Beauty from Ashes is a 12-week small group for women who have experienced sexual assault or abuse. Using the book "After Sexual Trauma" by Camille Cates, this group provides a safe, compassionate space to process your story, rebuild your identify, and experience emotional and spiritual healing. Each participant will need to purchase the book listed above. Together we explore topics such as shame, identify, trust, justice, and God's presence in suffering - always at a gentle pace and never requiring anyone to share more than they're comfortable with. Each week includes guided discussion, scripture reflection, grounding practices, and creative elements designed to support healing. You don't have to walk this road alone - come find hope, community, and restoration. This group also includes a serve experience with NH Missions and a fun experience. When signing up for the group the leader will respond back within 24 hours via text or email to confirm your attendance and commitment to the group. The group meets at church on Monday nights and begins on 2.2. The group will pause on 4.6. Childcare will be provided and children must be registered before the semester begins.
