December W4: Jesus came for YOU!

Merry Christmas NewHope. We are so grateful you came to celebrate with us today. Today, we wrapped up our Christmas series in NewHope Kids as we learned about the wisemen who brought gifts to Jesus.

The wiseman traveled from a far away land to worship the newborn king…Jesus (Matthew 2:1-2). They brought Him very expensive gifts, but little did they know that Jesus was the best gift of all. As you prepare your preschooler to open presents, have them hold up a present and say, “Jesus is the best gift!”

Your Elementary schooler learned even more about how God gave us the greatest gift of all by sending Jesus! Jesus gave up everything to save us because he loves us so much! This is the power of the Gospel and we believe this Good News can change your child’s life! We encourage you to continue this conversation at home. This may look like telling your child about how you came to know Jesus as your personal Savior. Take this week to speak with your child one on one and leave space for them to ask questions.
